Jammin’ at Utah Tech University
The Toast OG team was honored to be invited by Utah Tech Student Association to participate in the first ever UTSA Farmer’s Market to support local businesses. Over 200 students visited the Toast Tent to jam with us!
We held our first ever Toast Eating Contest. Several Utah Tech students took the toast-stick challenge! Students were provided two cinnamon toast French toast sticks to eat as fast as they can. No dippin’ in sauce. No surplin’ with water. Just straight up eatin’. When they were finished eating the chanted, “Stomp’em Utah Tech Trailblazers.” These brave toast souls ate sticks were fresh but a bit cold. After four rounds of toast eatin’ fun, the grand prize winner was Ruben Zarate!
The most heartwarming part of being a small business owner is to see and hear firsthand the positive comments about the Toast OG story, how the brand came to life, and love of Eli’s products. One toast fan who visited the booth shared her toast story how she and her mother adore toast and have matching toast tattoos. It’s wonderful to meet other toast fanatics who want to spread the love and suck the life out of every day.
At the market, Toast OG was thrilled to be joined by two of Kristy’s amazing students who own successful small businesses. JaCee Zarate, owner of @Jzplants and Jessica Milne, owner of @silverspoon_rings. Follow them on Instagram.
Thank you to all of Utah Tech’s wonderful students. We love you, Trailblazers!
